NOTE: This list of facilities with permits to rear or sell selected fish species in New York is compiled annually by DEC and distributed for information only, not as an endorsement or recommendation by the DEC. Fish purchasers are reminded that DEC stocking permits are required before fish are placed into any New York State waters. Salmonid (salmon, trout, whitefish) fishes may not be placed into waters of the State unless accompanied by a valid certificate stating they are free of Whirling Disease. For additional information call the nearest DEC Regional Office.
